Industry Legend Rick Martin Returns with Martin Golf Apparel

(Dallas, Texas) – Golf Industry icon Rick Martin is returning to the business with his new company, Martin Golf. The company’s initial offering is for Spring 2012, directed exclusively to the PGA professional at the finest golf clubs in the country.

For Rick Martin it has always been an unending pursuit to create the perfect cotton golf shirt. Today’s technology has allowed him to identify and source a finer Pima Cotton fiber, which is spun into a unique yarn. That yarn is then treated to proprietary finishing processes that impart a lasting luster and hand feel to every Martin Golf shirt.

He has always believed in producing golf apparel made of natural fiber designed to be worn to play the game. The Spring line also introduces sweaters in Alpaca links, fine Italian Merino Wool and a unique Mercerized Pima cotton.

Martin golf begins play with a starting line-up of outstanding apparel veterans who know the apparel business as well as they know the game: Gavin Heap, Eric Christie, Jon Boland, Chip McCraney, and John Flahavin. Their reputations and loyal customer following will enhance the Martin Golf debut.

"Synthetic fabrics in golf shirts come and go," says Rick Martin.  He believes the shirt he has created for Martin Golf will soon become the benchmark all other shirts will be compared to.

Classic styling coupled with superior quality in every Martin Golf shirt is as timeless as the game.
