Couples Relies on B330 Ball in Record-Breaking Win at AT&T Championship

2011 Presidents Cup Captain Wins 2nd Champions Tour Event This Season
                                                                                                   
(Covington, Ga.) — In San Antonio, Texas, this weekend, Fred Couples put on a precision shot making clinic that made for the most dominant victory on the Champions Tour this season, winning the AT&T Championship by a record 7 shots.  With the win, Couples earned $270,000 and vaulted himself into the top 10 of theCharles Schwab Cup race, despite having only 9 starts on the Champions Tour in 2011.    

Couples relied on the incredible distance and accuracy of the Bridgestone TOUR B330 golf ball and J38 Dual Pocket Cavity irons as he finished third in Driving Distance (with an average of 297 yards per drive) and T1 in Greens in Regulation (hitting an incredible 87%), respectively.  In addition, Freddie led the field in birdies, carding 26 across three rounds including an astonishing 12 in round two.  Couples 54-hole tournament total of 193 shattered the current tournament record of 195 set in 2005.
