Scooter Pines Holdings Announces Release of Bogey Christmas Book to Benefit Folds of Honor

Percentage of proceeds from children's book, co-authored by Dottie Pepper and Scott Fuller, will help provide educational scholarships to military families

(Virginia Beach, Va.) - Scooter Pines Holdings and its publishing division, Scooter Pines Publishing, announced the release of its first Special Holiday Edition book, Bogey Ballton's Night Before Christmas.

The children's book, co-authored by Dottie Pepper and Scott Fuller, and illustrated by Kenneth Templeton, has its title character "Bogey Ballton" startling Santa Ball on Christmas Eve, leading to Bogey's discovery about the true meaning of Christmas.

"We took a Christmas classic and put a Bogey spin on it!" commented co-author, Pepper, formerly the No. 1-ranked golfer in the world and current broadcaster for NBC Sports. "In addition to giving back, Bogey's mission is to get kids playing golf, reading and having fun."

A portion of the proceeds from each book sold will go to help support the Folds of Honor Foundation, founded by Major Dan Rooney in 2007, which provides educational scholarships to dependents and spouses of military service men and women killed or disabled while serving our great nation.

"Partnering with Dottie, Scott and the people at SPH to take Bogey and friends to the kids of America is something that we at the Folds of Honor look forward to," said Rooney. "Bring-ing fun to the game is so important and we feel that Bogey is the perfect vehicle to do that."

Co-author Scott Fuller agrees.

"We are hoping the message in this book resonates with children and families for years to come. I know reading the book will be become a Christmas tradition with my family!"

The book is scheduled to be available Nov. 1. To pre-order books and learn more, visit BogeyTeesOff.com or foldsofhonor.org. Free S&H will be available for all items at Bogey's Pro Shop until the book's release on Nov. 1.
