Devereux Debuts Its Fall 2014 Proper Collection

From City to Course and Course to City

(Los Angeles, Calif.) - Devereux introduced the Proper Collection for Fall of 2014, which was designed looking into fashions of the past and pairing a colorway fitting for this Fall and Winter season.

Charles
Inspiration for this collection comes from Miami in the 1950s and 1960s. Our vision was to capture the mood through design. Lush evergreen and cool navy depict the fun-loving beach and resort life, while the deep claret and monochromatic color scheme embark on the dark mood of Miami nights during that time period. The design aesthetic re-introduces the elegant form of outfitting in that specific time and place.

The Proper Collection was created for golfers and travelers. Whether they're in New York City, Miami or Los Angeles, the Proper Collection has garments for each culture. Designed to easily transcend from on-course to off-course or from city to city, this collection offers proper threads - whatever the occasion.

As for styles, the Brunner shirt returns to this collection
with the additional colors claret and evergreen.  Always a staple, the Brunner features a thinned-out, four-button placket, button-down spread collar, and the Devereux signature pocket on the left chest.

Our top-selling Lindley and Oliver shirts are also offered for Fall. A continuation from our Spring 2014 collection, the Lindley is a classic three-button stretch pique made of 96% Pima Cotton and 4% Spandex -- adding a slight stretch for fit and movement. It features a ribbed cut-away collar and the DX emblem on the left chest. Also a carryover from Spring, the Oliver is designed with a European inspiration. Its overall sleek look and sophisticated contrasting details grab the attention of passers-by. It was created to be worn on- and off-course and looks exceptionally well paired with a jacket.

Haimes
There are also four new styles - Charles, Jahan, Joseph and William - each offered in colorways that feature claret and evergreen.

The Charles is a timeless and colorful polo, intended for the nicer courses on your bucket list. It's a sophisticated piece that you'd see in an upscale Manhattan lounge or on a breezy Carmel course. Attention to detail and a bold contrast cut-and-sew chest piece make it stand out.

The Jahan is a beautiful-yet-quite-casual piece that looks fitting on the course or in either East or West Coast environment. A well-fit polo with a conservative print, it's offered in many color options.

A timeless and classic look, the Joseph is a shirt designed for elegance. Beautiful contrast piping in subtle colorways make it perfect to pair with trousers or a sport coat. Its extended placket elevates the sophisticated look in which it was intended for.

The William is a modified look inspired from our Spring 2014 bestseller. This garment has all the elements to make it easily worn, wherever you are. Its pocket and button-down collar give it a buttoned-up look, while added chest stripes introduce a casual aesthetic that elevates this piece to the front of your wardrobe.

New to this season, the Devereux Prescott pant offers a clean and sleek look. Its narrow fit was designed for functionality while maintaining an acceptable look, whether on the course or at the office. The Prescott is available in claret, steel and graphite.

The Haimes and Arthur sweaters remain on the Fall lineup, in steel and navy. The Haimes is an essential for every man. This luxurious lightweight sweater features a V-neck and ribbed trim. The Arthur, meanwhile, is a luxurious lightweight sweater made of an 85% Pima Cotton and 15% Baby Alpaca blend. It features a V-neck with contrasting trim.

Continuing the brand's commitment to provide men with proper styling, there will be a lot to watch this season as the Devereux story continues to unfold.
