Titleist Sweeps Seven Major Worldwide Tours

Titleist enjoyed a clean sweep of the seven worldwide tours this week, with wins on the PGA, LPGA, European, Champions, Web.com, Canada and Korea tours.

PGA TOUR/The Barclays: Titleist Pro V1x golf ball loyalist Hunter Mahan pulled away from the field with three straight birdies on holes 15 through 17, sealing victory at The Barclays, the first of four FedEx Cup playoff events to close the 2013-14 PGA TOUR season … Mahan closed with a 6-under 65 en route to a 14-under 270 victory total and a two-shot win … Mahan is the only player to never miss a FedEx Cup playoff event … Titleist Brand Ambassador Cameron Tringale (Pro V1x, 915D3 prototype driver, 915F prototype fairway metal, 913H hybrid, MB 714 irons, Vokey Design Spin Milled wedges, Scotty Cameron GSS putters), who was celebrating his 27th birthday, fired a final round 66 to finish in a three-way tie for 2nd, the highest finish of his PGA TOUR career … Titleist Brand Ambassadors Kevin Na (Pro V1x, 915D3 prototype driver, 915F prototype fairway metals, 915H prototype hybrid, AP2 714 irons, Vokey Design Spin Milled wedges, Scotty Cameron GSS putters) and Morgan Hoffmann (Pro V1x, 913D3 driver, 913Fd fairway metal, 712U 3-iron, MB 714 irons, Vokey Design SM5 wedges, Scotty Cameron Futura X putter), as well as Titleist Pro V1x golf ball loyalist Rickie Fowler, all tied for 9th … Titleist was the top choice in golf balls with 70 players, more than four times the nearest competitor with 15 … The win is the 23rd for Titleist golf ball loyalists on the 2013-14 PGA TOUR, more than three times the nearest competitor with 7 … Titleist was also the field favorite in irons (30) and wedges (103).

EUROPEAN/D+D Real Czech Masters:  Jamie Donaldson held off the challenges of two players, including fellow Pro V1x golf ball loyalist Bradley Dredge to win the D+D REAL Czech Masters by two shots … The win secured Donaldson a position on his first European Ryder Cup team … The victory was the third of his European Tour career … Donaldson closed with a 4-under par 68 to reverse a two shot deficit and post a  14-under victory total … Dredge finished runner-up for the second consecutive week … Titleist was the top choice in golf balls with 112 (72%) players in the field of 156, more than five times the nearest competitor with 21 … The win is the 16th for Titleist golf ball loyalists on the 2014 European Tour, four times the nearest competitor with 4.

LPGA/Canadian Pacific Women’s Open:  Titleist Pro V1 golf ball loyalist So Yeon Ryu fired a course record 63 to start and then led wire-to-wire to win the Canadian Pacific Women’s Open with a 23-under par victory total … The total ties the best score in relation to par on the LPGA Tour this season … It marked her third victory over two years … Titleist was the top choice in golf balls with 113 (72%) players in the field of 156, seven times the nearest competitor with 15.

CHAMPIONS/Boeing Classic:  Pro V1 golf ball loyalist Scott Dunlap won the Boeing Classic when he made a short birdie putt on the first hole of a sudden death playoff … Dunlap set up his winning putt on the par-5 18th hole with an outstanding approach to the right of the pin that bounced past the hole, and then drew back downhill to within four feet … He made an easy two-putt for his first Champions Tour victory … Gene Sauers (Pro V1x) and Titleist Brand Ambassador Tom Pernice, Jr. (Pro V1x, 915D3 prototype driver, 913F fairway metal, 913H hybrids, AP2 irons, Vokey Design SM5 wedges, Scotty Cameron Futura X putter) finished solo third and fourth, respectively, two and three shots out of the playoff … Titleist was the top choice in golf balls with 57 (70%) players, more than seven times the nearest competitor with 8.

WEB.COM/WinCo Foods Portland Open:  Carlos Ortiz earned his third Web.com Tour title of the season and a ticket to the PGA Tour with a one shot win at the WinCo Foods Portland Open … Ortiz posted opening rounds of 66 and 63 that propelled him to a 14-under 270 victory total … Ortiz fended off a charge from fellow Titleist Pro V1x golf ball loyalist Jason Gore, whose final round 5-under 66 put him in a tie for 2nd … This was the final regular season event on the Web.com Tour which handed out 2014-15 PGA TOUR cards to the Top 25 on the Web.com Tour money list … Titleist was the top choice in golf balls with 106 (68%), nearly six times the nearest competitor with 18 … Titleist golf ball loyalists won 13 events on the 2014 Web.com Tour, more than four times the nearest competitor with 3.

PGA TOUR CANADA/The Great Waterway Classic:  David Bradshaw birdied the final hole at The Great Waterway Classic to claim his first career win on PGA TOUR Canada … Bradshaw fired a final round 5-under 67 to post a 21-under victory total, one shot clear of two players, including fellow Titleist Pro V1x golf ball loyalist Tommy Cocha … Bradshaw birdied five of his first seven holes of the final round to take the lead … The win moves Bradshaw, who was making only his fourth start of the season, to ninth on the Order of Merit with three events to go in the 2014 season … Cocha recorded his career best finish on PGA TOUR Canada … Titleist was the top choice in golf balls with 96, four times the nearest competitor with 24 … Titleist golf ball loyalists have won seven of the first nine events on the 2014 PGA TOUR Canada.

KOREA/Vanier Championship:  Titleist Brand Ambassador SangHyun Park (Pro V1, 913D3 driver, 913Fd fairway metal, 913H hybrid, 714MB irons, Vokey Design pitching, gap and lob wedges, Scotty Cameron GSS putter) closed with a 4-under par 67 to win the Vainer Championship by one shot over Titleist Pro V1x golf ball loyalist DongSeop Maeng (Pro V1x) … Park posted a 15-under par 269 victory total … Titleist golf ball loyalist HyunWoo Ryu finished another shot back in solo third place … Titleist was the top choice in golf balls with 115 (74%) players in the field of 156, nearly seven times the nearest competitor with 16 … Titleist golf ball loyalists have won seven of the first eight events on the 2014 KPGA Tour.
